"We were the only guests. The host and hostess were very attentive, but not intrusive. Bed was very comfortable. Room good size, excellent temperature control, wardrobe, fridge. Shower was amazing - large, hot and good temperature. Breakfast was exceptional....yoghurt, museli, fruit, cheese, meats, eggs, bacon, cake, coffee, juice... couldn't ask for more."

"Location and facilities at the Alfatima were ideal, we had breakfast and evening meal in the steakhouse restaurant attached, pool was very good whole area was very clean, breakfast was in abundance, far too much for us to eat, ideally located for touring around the serra da estrela regio"

"Friendly and helpful service after booking on a short notice. Very spacious, clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Excellent breakfast at the restaurant. Unfortunately we arrived on a the day when the restaurant is closed for the evening as that seemed to be a real treat to dine there."
