"We loved the bright, modern apartment, so close to the ‘Rock’ and bus routes. We walked into the City centre easily from the Hub and one evening got a bus back. We loved Casemates Square and the shopping alleys. We are Geocachers so there was the added bonus of Geocaching in the area, too."

"We thought it was funny that I needed the step stool to get into bed, but we didn’t ‘dislike’ it. It was cool."

"Beautiful place, literally sat at the bottom of the rock of Gibraltar as it towers above you. Coffee on the balcony was a great way to marvel at the impressive cliff-face. Perfectly clean, functional and comfortable, with nice fittings. A short walk into the centre of town or the waterfront, and a great way to experience the hustle and bustle of Gibraltar."

"Flat is really nice, just like the pictures. Clean, tidy, with a balcony with a view to the giant rock. The host was very attentive on WhatsApp when I couldn't figure out the shower hot water (it was just a switch in the kitchen). He also let me leave my backpack there for a few hours until the airport. Also - it's walking distance from the airport!"

"There were many major virtues and high points: The views of the Rock from the apartment were just as magnificent as claimed in the booking.com entry. The apartment's location was excellent. Ideal for the airport; ideal for buses to town and to the chair lift; ideal for the local supermarket! The decor and the ornaments were really nice (I particularly liked the golden-coloured tray shaped like a giant feather!). The building was very easy to get in and out of, and yet was very secure - so the best of both worlds. The bed was very comfy!"

"There were a few niggles: As noted in another review, there were no instructions in English for the oven. Odd, given that English is one of the two official languages of Gibraltar. It looked very complicated to use, so I didn't dare use it without instructions, in case I messed it up! Not sure why the owner could not put simple, summary instructions for the oven in English in the Welcome Booklet. Speaking of the Welcome Booklet, it was a bit hit and miss - very thorough in some aspects; very thin and sparse in others. An odd little omission is this. Even budget/basic places in UK provide milk (either fresh in the fridge, or UHT/long life in little packets in a bowl), so that upon arrival the guests can have a decent cup of tea/coffee. One would have assumed, therefore, that a classy place like apartment 1105 would have this - but no. After a 10-and-three-quarter hour journey door-to-door, it would been nice to have been able to have a decent cup of tea, with milk. Moreover, I had arrived at 9 pm, so local supermarket just closed, so I could not even go down and buy myself some milk until next day. These are only little things, and I would not claim they were anything but minor. However, often it is the little things, collectively, that make the difference between a very good stay and an excellent stay."

"The apartment was so comfortable & had a great size & equipped kitchen. Modern aesthetic & I liked the balcony as a sunny breakfast spot. Callum was amazingly helpful & provided us with a letter as proof of stay for our marriage service. He was in consistent communication & made sure we didn't need anything. He gave extremely helpful tips for parking & local recommendations. Kind generous host & REALLY cosy bed. Can highly recommend"
