"Everything is perfect at Monoceros. The owners, their staff, the hotel. It is very relaxing. The garden is beautiful and luxurious. The pool area is an invitation to chill. The bungallows are comfortable well furnished and welcoming. You feel good the moment you pass the door. The bed in room 5 was super comfortable. You will get good Thai food at the restaurant. Price is very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. The breakfast is top! It’s rare to put a 10 but this place deserve it!"

"Amazing location, clean and friendly staff. Would recommend and I would stay again 100%. Not an awful lot to do in the area which we knew anyway but perfect for a night or two if you want somewhere peaceful and different to the norm in Thailand. Queen SiriKit Botanical Gardens is around a 15/20 min drive and a MUST VISIT, it is amazing."

"Stunning beautiful grounds with lush vegetation and orchids growing everywhere with cosy little private chalets set apart from each other so no noisy neighbours, well equipped, comfortable and quiet and a beautiful pool, excellent food (best hang ley I've had since I've been in the north) and a great breakfast!"

"Spacious individual tastefully designed chalets with lots of natural light and a porch / veranda to relax. Chalets spaced out with natural forest screening from neighbouring chalets to add to the good distance between. Beautiful gardens with shade and tropical forest epiphytes and orchids. Nice size swimming pool for when temps allow. Great hosts, Paul & Arm, fantastic staff and great food."

"A hidden gem ! Stunning location . The bungalows were so pretty and equipped with everything we needed. The feeling was calm and tranquil. The perfect spot to relax and unwind and explore the north. Definitely hire a car or bike (the hotel can do this) to get around. You then have easy access to a number of wonderful attractions . We loved the food which was amazing value for money . Paul was so helpful and welcoming and the rest of the staff were delightful. We will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend."

"The ambience and layout is amazing very nice decor.The staff and owners were lovely and the restaurant served delicous inexpensive food.Big extremely clean swimming pool.The owners can organise massages day trips etc.All the rooms have tv with netflix etc. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cold whilst we were there especially in the evening as the cottages are set out in such a way that they dont get any sunlight which keeps them cool in the summer. Would highly recommend a stay there for a few days fantastic value for money !"
