"Lovely room with separate living room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Paul was a great host, friendly, and helpful in recommending local restaurants and places to go in the area. Breakfast was delicious, Paul took extra care to make grilled potatoes for me (celiac/gluten free) instead of toast at breakfast. On our last day, we had an early start, Paul cooked a full breakfast and gave us fruit to go. I highly recommend Small Land Lodge."

"We had an excellent stay here!!! The location is right by the bus station and very handy for getting to shops, restaurants and bars. The manager (Paul) is a great guy who will help you out with anything you need and is great to chat to. He organised for our laundry to be done while we went hiking for a very small fee. The breakfast is fantastic 👌!!! I think whoever makes the guacamole is part Mexican...."

The place location is great, and it is in few seconds from Karongi BUS PARK and accessible by the Road. The service is excellent, I can't forget to talk about their special FISH and CHICKEN, good stuff with Smart looking, clean place and comfortable."

"One of the Best Places to Stay in Kibuye! I had a wonderful stay at Small Land Lodge, truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in Kibuye. The location is excellent, just a short distance from the bus station, Kibuye city center, Lake Kivu, and Kibuye Hospital. The lodge itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. My room was clean and comfortable, with a mosquito net and all the essentials. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. I highly recommend Small Land Lodge to anyone visiting Kibuye!"
