"Good clean hotel at the north end of the main street running through Besishahar. The restaurant and wedding area is about 100m up the street on the opposite side of the road - an advantage when there is a wedding as it means the rooms remain calm Nd peaceful. "Beautiful resort with the kindest and most attentive staff that couldn’t do enough for us. Everybody we met at Dorje’s was so caring - helping us to plan our days, lighting the fire to keep us warm, always on hand with advice and transport support via WhatsApp or in person. You couldn’t wish to be looked after by nicer people! We arrived late due to a delayed flight and the staff had reserved us a candlelit dinner by the fire pit - just perfect! We loved the vegetable momos, hot lemon tea and freshly cooked omelettes in the morning. The staff warmed the jacuzzi for us and made every moment magical. Nepal is the 30th country I’ve visited and the hospitality at Dorje’s must be the best I’ve experienced!"
