"The property yard was lush and jungle-like with nice pool to cool off on hot days. The rooms were nice & clean and the aircon was very effective. We enjoyed our stay at Maison del Embajador in the historic center of Mérida a lot, it was a perfect location. Last but not least, we want to say our special thanks to the wonderful staff members Francisco & Emiliano who took so good care of my daughters & me during our visit. It was a pleasure to get to know you, thank you for everything!"

"El agua de la piscina estaba fría, se entiende por la temporada. El aire acondicoinado del cuarto se descompuso y nos cambiaron de habitación oportunamente aunque la cama ya no era queen cambiaron a 2 matrimoniales. No hay servicio de restaurant, solo cafe, pan y fruta. Pero esta muy bien ubicado y hay muchas opciones de restaurants alrededor."

"La habitación tiene poca iluminación, el apagador del baño no funcionaba bien, por lo que a veces no se podía encender. El agua caliente de la ducha tarda mucho en salir, por lo que se desperdicia agua. La alberca no tiene calefacción por lo que en algunas temporadas es difícil poder usarla."

"Great Stay at a Budget Hotel I recently stayed at this budget hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. There was always someone at the front desk, usually the owners, which made me feel very welcome and safe as a solo traveler. My room was small but to be expected; both the fridge and air conditioner worked silently, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. The shower had warm water, which was a nice comfort. The hotel is well looked after and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to downtown where all the music and action is. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay! "
