"The best accommodation and host we have had in Sri Lanka. Everything was perfect. The place was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Heshan (our host) was super nice and helpful. He even drove us to Sigiriya and showed us 2 temples on the way for a good price. The 2 staff members working with Heshan were super nice as well. On top of all that, there is a super cosy rooftop where you can chill, eat breakfast and have dinner. We really wish we could have stayed here longer."

"Our stay at Remli Villa was great. Heshan and his team were very welcoming. A lovely room with outside terrace above Kandy but with easy access. The owner can arrange a tuk tuk into town easily. The breakfast was really good and taken on the roof terrace, where you can also buy a beer in the evening if you wish. Other people were eating there and it looked great. Heshan offered to drive us to our next hotel close to Nuwara Eliya and this was a great decision as he stopped at a couple of places for us and we were able to learn more about Sri Lanka, its history and culture. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall this was a great stay and exactly what we needed. A perfectly clean room, great breakfast, easy access and excellent value. Don’t bother booking anywhere else."

"The room was very spacious, well-lit with beautiful interiors. Liked the friendliness of the staff and they were very accommodating when we asked for vegetarian food. The garden just outside along with the outdoor seating and hill views were incredible."

"Location was quite far from Kandy's main attractions like the Tooth Relic Temple and Kandy Lake. Although, commute wasn't a hassle as tuk tuks via PickMe were readily available."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Remli Villa. Quiet location, beautiful views, nicely decorated and very clean room and bathroom. The host was on hand to help with absolutely anything I needed - even after I left and realised I had forgotten my bicycle pump I messaged him and he arranged for someone to bring it to where I was. Very outstanding hospitality and friendliness. All the other people working there were so nice and kind too. The food was exceptional and it is lovely to eat up on the roof terrace with the views. Highly recommended."

"Near kandy centre but away from the traffic and surrounded by trees and flowers. Lovely roof terrace for meals. Views of birds. Sunsets and trees. Staff very helpful and friendly arranged tuk tuks and gave us a lift to sigiriya. Authentic Sri Lankan food and a lovely balcony for morning coffee."
