"We were absolutely satisfied with our stay in Matsunoki. We have been to Japan last autumn so this interesting mix of Japanese and Kyrgiz culture amazed us. The ambient of the guesthouse is very relaxing with spacious areas and a lot of wooden surfaces. The owner was very kind, helped us with whatever question we had. There is laundry service, which we really needed, as our clothes were very dirty from the horse-riding tour at Song Kul. There is a common fridge for the guest - it was nice to be able to grab a cold bottle of beer whenever returning from a day of hiking. Also, the location was great: close to the city center but in a nice, quiet street. Would definitaly stay there again!"

"My stay at Matsunoki was wonderful. Yuka and her family were very welcoming. She provided invaluable help to me for making sightseeing and transport arrangements as well as very useful information, which was especially appreciated since I stayed in Karakol after peak season. The accommodations were very nice, clean, and well situated. The breakfasts were ample and delicious."

"Proveli smo jednu noc u ovom smestaju. Radnik nas je jako lepo docekao. Prostorije su velike, smestaj poseduje 2 kuhinje i nekoliko velikih kupatila. Nalazi se na 5 minuta hoda od jezera i ima veliko dvoriste. Na 5 minuta kolima od nove uredjene plaze."

"Ulan made us feel so very welcome in his guesthouse. The location is perfect, so after spending our first day in Kyrgyzstan in Ala Archa, we were at the guesthouse within 15 minutes by car (parking was available). We had a great chat with Ulan and he taught us a lot about his country, it was very interesting. We even got a little performance from his son on the komuz. It really was such a great way to start our travels in this country. The room was comfortable as well, with nice soft beds and a clean bathroom. As we were staying in March we used the AC for some extra heat which was lovely as well. After a good night sleep we ended our stay with an incredible breakfast (bread, eggs, sausage, tomato, porridge, cakes) we couldn't even finish because it was so much. Thank you, to Ulan and the family, for a great stay!"
