"We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in, Mary the host was excellent. The room contained everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Breakfast the next morning also excellent."

"Had a lovely stay at this Guesthouse, Mary could not do enough for us, and as some of the other reviews have said she is defiantly a feeder. She was always on hand to offer us tea, coffee or toast which was lovely after a long day and the breakfast she rustled up was gorgeous, fresh and hot. She advised us on the best restaurants, (The Stock House was exceptional) and advised us on a walk down the Canal to trim Castle (a must) via the Marcie Regan pub, a 17th Century quaint little watering hole. Overall an exceptional B&B, very clean and very comfy, a home from home"

"The room was a very nice size with a large comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The shower was large and powerful too. The house was a short 20 minute walk into Trim centre or you can take the slightly longer scenic walk along the river and take in all the medieval ruins along the way which was very pleasant. Mary was an excellent host and cooked us an amazing breakfast. There was even a wide variety of other bits including fruits, yogurts and cereals if we wanted with multiple refills of tea and coffee, we felt very spoilt at breakfast and well looked after. Tony very kindly gave us a lift to the castle when the weather was bad which was very much appreciated too."
