"The beach is right outside the hotel, Few mins from the room. Sunbeds and parasols are provided. Beach is covered with pebbles, sea shoes are recommended. The water is crystal clear. We went for a bigger room, which was nice and with a lot of room. We could play inside with my sun when the weather was rainy. Breakfast was plenty and nice choices. A lot of chicken/turkey options."

"The restaurant tables was a bit packed. When it was full, was hard to stand up a fetch more food for the family."

"The location is wonderful, really in front of the beach"

"We experienced bad weather, and there weren’t many activities available for children. I would suggest creating a kids’ area with a playground, a cinema room, or other entertainment options so families can enjoy their stay even in poor weather conditions."

"This place is very good value for money. Staff are nice and professional, facilities are well-maintained and comfortable, but the absolute killer is the location: direct access to the beach and the walking zone. If you want a relaxing beach holiday with pools and a high level of comfort, I highly recommend it."

"There are three weak spots: 1) Food: the quality is OK, but variation is minimal. Basically, the same menu every week, both for breakfast and dinner. The free drinks are awful, so prepare to shell out an extra 10-15 EUR / day. 2) The free wifi is overloaded, so if you want to watch streaming content on your own, bring your own streaming kit and WiFi hotspot. The TVs in the rooms have HDMI connection slots available. 3) I don't understand why they don't offer free parking, as all the guests arrive by car. Another 10 EUR / day fee on top."

"I would like to give a special shout out to all the staff working at Blue Waves, frontline and behind the scenes. The facilities were super clean, room service was doing a great job and all the cooks and wait staff that made meal time enjoyable. Our family had a very nice stay and we certainly will be back but for a longer stay :)"

"Absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful staff!! From the moment we arrived at the Hotel to getting sun chairs at the beach until departure the staff was amazing and really made us feel at home. The breakfast buffet was also really good, well stocked and with a live kitchen that made all the warm dishes right there. Housekeeping was also great, very clean and tidy rooms and also there, very friendly staff that always were there to help. During our last day they even offered some of the spa features that usually cost extra, which was very appreciated. The location was also great, the hotel goes right down to the beach, where you get sun chairs and umbrellas. It's a roughly 30 min walk down to Malinska center if you want some more restaurants and shops but that walk is along the whole beach and is very pleasant in the evening."

"The only downside I can think of was that you had to get up a bit early if you wanted to get sun chairs and umbrellas, but since the space on the beach is limited as well that might be out of the control of the resort."

"Beautiful hotel close to the sea. We even got free upgrade of the room. The stuff was very nice, always smiling and helpfull. We will be definitely back next year."

"Excellent facilities, great view to the sea. The property is located directly on the beach. Staff were very polite, efficient, welcoming and did their very best to make our stay enjoyable. Everybody was smiling, communicative and friendly. The apartment exceeded our expectation, it was perfectly clean, very well equipped, the furniture was stylish and comfortable. Parking is offered both at an underground garage and surface parking right at the doorstep of the resort. The main restaurant and the pool-side bar offered a range of foods and drinks, which could be enjoyed overlooking the beach. Our trip terminated early due to a medical reason (not related to our stay) and the resort staff was very understanding, flexible and supportive in handling our situation. We will certainly return to Blue Waves Resort!"
