"Sve mi se dopalo. Hotel jeste stariji ali ga lepo održavaju i obnavljaju, lift je nov. Problem koji sam imala u sobi veoma brzo su rešili. Devojke na recepciji su veoma ljubazne i od velike pomoći. Lokacija je odlična, veoma blizu plaže."

Mislim da bi trebali da postoje drzači za sušenje kupaćih kostima na velikoj terasi za sobe koje nemaju svoju terasu. Treba da znate da pojedine sobe bez pogleda nemaju dnevnu svetlost.

"Doručak je bio raznovrstan i ukusan, moglo se pronaći nešto za svačiji ukus. Hotel je smešten na svega tri minuta hoda od stanice metroa i odlično je povezan sa ostatkom grada. Osoblje je izuzetno ljubazno i uvek spremno da pomogne. Posebno bih želela da pohvalim gospodina Nandosa, koji je uvek bio nasmejan, predusretljiv i spreman da odgovori na svako naše pitanje."

"The shuttle bus from the airport was on site when we arrived and very comfortable after the plane ride. Check in was quick and the staff was amazing. Our room was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable."

"It is clear that the hotel has recently undergone renovation. The rooms are beautiful, modern, and very comfortable. The entire hotel area is lovely, set within a lush tropical garden that creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The pool is on the smaller side, but it is absolutely sufficient and pleasant. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from."

The price of the hotel feels quite overpriced in my opinion; however, considering that this is the Seychelles, it is somewhat expected.

The food price quite high in their restaurant

"I had a really great stay here; the staff were friendly and helpful, my room was spacious and very comfortable; the breakfast buffet was tasty and varied and the two restaurants served excellent food. Despite the high quality and fact Kempinski is an international premium brand, the room rates and restaurant prices were very reasonable"

Please note the hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the main square and public taxis are very few. To get around, you need to have a Mongolian SIM to use the taxi apps, master the bus system, of hitchhike

"It was really cosy and comfortable stay. Staff was very helpful and ready to assist. I really enjoyed staying and it felt relaxing. Bathroom is very spacious and beds are comfortable. General room setup is very good offering lot of storage and working space without compromising the mobility."

Hotel was bit far from city center and there is no close local bus stop. However, for people who don't mind bit of walk it is very good. One window couldn't be closed completely but I didn't notice it right away. I am sure staff would come and check it, but it made general feel in room bit more cold than it should be.

It’s a bit way out to get to any bars or restaurants on foot- St.Lawrence Gap, £10 e/w, for amenities. Walk at your peril the roads & drivers are haphazard & it takes a good half hour if you’re relatively fit!

"Ljubazno osoblje, iako dolazim iz Srbije dočekan sam na najvišem mogućem nivou. Sve pohvale za celokupnu ekipu koja je vredna, ljubazna i uslužna. Sobe velike, pogled sa terase neverovatan. Ispunio je sva moja očekivanja. Doručak bogat i obiman."

Jedina preporuka, zamena sobnih vrata, koja bi desetosruko ulepšavala celokupni utisak i možda neki panoramaski lift.

"location. Usually the cafe in the hotel is lovely but that was closed. The pool is very relaxed (small but so personable and quite). The location and use of all the Weston beach is the best. Without the pretentiousness."

That the restaurant isn't closed and no one helped me with my huge case to my room ( iwas on my own and kinda just pointed in the right direction even though I had three bags.

"During our stay, my wife fell ill. Diagnosed with severe malaria, she was transferred from the over-worked Moroni public hospital to a private clinic (at the hotel’s initiative). Over the next week, the Retaj’s staff treated us both as family and could not have been more helpful."

"Traditional hotel with very relaxed atmosphere. Family owned and staff who were absolutely lovely. Funny, friendly and helpful. Quite quirky with a definite African ambience. Not trying to be too perfect!! Close to the beach in a quiet area. Super pool with stress free feeling as quite shallow and never busy. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and visited regularly by cheeky monkeys."

A lack of written information describing amenities. Mosquitos can be a problem if you normally suffer after being bitten.

"Hotel upgraded my room, they gave me a delux room instead of standard room. We've got dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. It was excellent!"

Furniture and rugs are a little old. Needs to be renewed.

"The team were very friendly and a great support with questions we had. We were met at the airport terminal and driven to the hotel using the free shuttle service. The room was really spacious and clean and breakfast was a great selection. We had asked for help with something very specific which wasn't part of the hotel and the team said to leave it with them and they'd call the room when they had the answer and, they did that!"
