"The location is great. It’s in Guanyinqiao, within walking distance to the light rail station. There are big shopping malls and great restaurants nearby. Guests can go to the shopping center via the hotel lift, which was a lifesaver during the 40-degree days."
Negativna strana :
"The downside is that the hotel is very old and the facilities are outdated. The bathroom smells really bad. One night, our room phone rang twice in the middle of the night, which the hotel explained as phone connection issues. The reception offered us free breakfast as compensation, but it was still a pretty annoying and scary experience."

"The hotel was very grand, the room was large, bed was excellent, and view was amazing over the river and watching the lights each night. The bathtub was huge and rain shower was insanely good! Staff were lovely, and willing to help with any issues. The location was away from the craziness, but only a 2 minute taxi ride, or short walk & one subway stop away from the centre on Chongqing. We loved our stay here and couldn't believe the price."

"The only downside was staff not enforcing the no-smoking rule in the bar area. There were individual no-smoking signs on each table and massive signs upon entry. We were eating afternoon tea with a champagne and it was terrible having several tables just light up and start smoking. I approached staff and they promptly asked them to stop. However, other guests started and staff did nothing unless I approached them first, which put me in an awful situation. This was disappointing for such a nice hotel. We didn't attend the bar after that first day, which was a shame as we intended to go there each afternoon after sightseeing."
