Staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful - special thanks to Mariama who very kindly went above and beyond her duties to accompany me to the market so I wasn't alone. Good buffet breakfast, clean swimming pool, lovely gardens, spacious rooms. I felt very safe here as a solo female too."

There was nothing I didn't like.

"I had a great stay at Tulip Hotel. Room 105 was cozy, clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was very clean and nice , and everything felt well maintained. I also really liked the stylish and cozy bar area. The interior design is beautiful and thoughtfully done. You can clearly see the creative ideas behind the concept, all focused on making guests feel comfortable. The team work of the staff is impressive. Service is smooth and professional. The food is delicious, breakfasts and lunch were excellent. The spa area is another highlight, especially the hammam and the pool with refreshing ice cold water.Wonderful! Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming hotel that fully deserves a high rating. I would definitely stay here again."

The only downside is the soundproofing. You can hear what is happening in the hallway, especially when guests check in or out or use the shower nearby. The room 105 could benefit from better noise insulation.

In dem Zimmer befand sich eine kleine Küchenzeile, die aber keinen Gegenstand enthielt (also insb. keinen Becher oder Glas). Außerdem ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig.

"Ibis is many times so and so in Europe, but this one was a positive surprise! The very friendly staff and kitchen made a late dinner even we arrived at the closing time of the restaurant! Rooms 'Ibistiny' but clean and good beds!"

Please note the hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the main square and public taxis are very few. To get around, you need to have a Mongolian SIM to use the taxi apps, master the bus system, of hitchhike

The quality of toileters should be better. The mini bar was empty and needed to ask for water at around 3:00 AM. Lastly, the price is a bit high.

"Beautiful room room with view on the pool and the ocean. All comfort included, the free shuttle to the city center or to the airport is very valuable, the staff was very kind and professional ! Would definitely come back :)"

Note that the breakfast is in extra but exquisite !

The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.

Prices are very high, but the normal for French Guyana. Kourou is not a city for pedestrians. So, there is no good location - everything is far for a walk. By car, it is really close to the space center.

Hotel ne preporučuje vodu za piće na česmi, a dobija se jedna flaša vode pri dolasku. Voda u hotelu košta 3x vise nego u pordavnici, a šteta je da se u tako lep hotel unose paketi vode i donosi iz prodavnica. Aparat za kafu ima, ali kapsule kupujete sami negde. Čaj, ness kafa i mleko imaju i svaki dan se dopunjuju.

"U kratkom periodu smo bili dva puta porodicno u ovom hotelu.Oba puta je osoblje bilo preljubazno,dorucak odlican, izbor veliki, sobe lepe komforne, jastuci udobni, posteljina i peskiri kvalitetni, loccitane kozmetika u kupatilu. Lokacija odealna za istrazivanje centra Ljubljane peske. Velika soba u kojoj smo bili poslednji put na 7. spratu je bila predivna ,sa fenomenalnim pogledom. Garaza u hotelu ,iako se placa odlicna, velika parking mesta."

Na 7.spratu ispred lifta je dva dana stajao carsav svucen na podu i niko ga nije sklonio,iako sam videla da je osoblje prolazilo pored njega. Ipak to nije pokvarilo utisak.

It’s a bit way out to get to any bars or restaurants on foot- St.Lawrence Gap, £10 e/w, for amenities. Walk at your peril the roads & drivers are haphazard & it takes a good half hour if you’re relatively fit!
