"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"Wonderful staff; onsite restaurant including with a wide choice on menu, reasonably priced if using the unofficial exchange rate. My room was situated by the lake edge and was such a wonderful experience listening just to the waves crushing in the night and awaking to a wonderful sunrise. Truly bliss. Thought powered by solar, my shower was reasonably hot and lighting though dim was constant. I still recommend taking a torch for the sometimes power cuts. Be sure to arrange a boat trip….. you won’t regret it. Eagle bird, cliff jumping and snorkelling. One might even be able to visit the Rastafarian community near by."

Wifi was only available in reception area and to reach room I had to negotiate a steep set of stairs where railings were sometimes missing. Could be potentially dangerous and not recommended if one suffers from knee problems. Whilst orders were excellent the service could be vastly improved. Orders took for ever to arrive and were often cold. Management, if reading, please sort this out!

"Such a great experience! Came a bit worried by the reviews, but since Mama Fifì is back the house is very clean and well managed. Rooms are simple, but it was such a pleasure to share a house with a real local landlady and spend some times in a real Huahine household, with whom we shared dinners and good moments. We were just three guests in off season, experience may be different when the dorm is full. A bit isolated, renting moped advised, but they deliver there too, and walking distance to water access and incredible beach hikes."

Најлошија ствар је интернет који уопште у собама није радио, конекција је била толико слаба да није уопште могло да се успостави повезивање, па се користио интернет из кафића у подножју хостела.

Would recommend it for backpackers, who want to explore Tatouine and the area around. Yessine can you provide recommendations for both and even organise a tour."

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.

"Perfect location within a couple of minutes' walk from the main train station (and a big mall with a supermarket open until late), surprisingly quiet for being in the very centre of the city, exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Very satisfied, thank you so much!"

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.
