"We love the proximity to the centre of the town, the old world ambience of the hotel and value for money . I stayed here last year and we really enjoyed the location, the decor. It was lovely. It’s a very old building so expect some quirky features. I took many photos of the classic decor. Parking is free in the streets around the hotel with plenty of options. It’s a quiet city centre so we didn’t feel worried at all about our car. The Abbey car park was most convenient."

"This accommodation is wonderful. A converted building creating a mezzanine floor, full of authentic features apart from the thoroughly modern bathroom. I had dinner there and was treated to a three course meal, which was exceptional. The host was so warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place highly enough"

"The view is breathtaking, you hardly ever hear the road, which is surprising considering the location. Loved the river, our kids really enjoyed the hot tub as well. The house itself is really cosy. Definitely recommend!"

"The location was really good. It has a clear view of the sea and you could see the sunset from the garden. It has everything you need nearby restaurants shops pharmacy and especially a delicious bakery. It has a very well kept swimming pool and various beaches nearby and lovely parks for walks. If you walk on top of the hill you’ll enjoy the most romantic sunset that beats any other place. The probably itself had a spacious living area and garden."

"A wonderfully French experience, both in terms of the breakfast and the position of hte hotel. Set high above Savernne this hotel is the perfect place for peace, solitude coupled with modern, clean bedrooms. The staff are both competent in their duties and extremely polite and friendly. From the arrival to the departure we felt totally welcome. The food at this hotel is absolutely exquisite. French cuisine at its best. 5-* food. The ambience is best witnessed yourself. A glass of local wine, sitting on the terrace overlooking the landscape surrounding Savernne. Need that quiet break, with all the 'French Feeling', then THIS is your hotel."

"Excellent location, very kind host, very comfortable apartment, even in hot weather. Lovely garden space that we used regularly. Perfect place in a lovely village. Also, a great starting point to visit charming Alsace places such as Selestat, Colmar, Kaysersberg, Ribeauville, Obernai. Also, plenty of walking opportunities. By chance, it turned out that the beautiful organic soaps Savon Artisanal du Val d'Argent are made in the same village, so we stocked up on those. Also a good WiFi and parking. Just everything perfect."
