"Very well located - close to plenty of restaurants and bars, as well as Malecom 2000. Easy walk to downtown or Las Penas. Hotel itself is very comfortable with well sized, comfortable rooms and plenty of amenities and you always felt very safe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Airport shuttle (free) is a real plus, convenient to get to and from the airport."

"We had a great stay at Spondylus Lodge! The rooms are clean and comfortable and everything looks new. The center of the little town and beach are a 2 minute walk. Ayampe is a super cute little town and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner and family where enjoying a holiday while we were there and where super hospitable and kind to us! Ayampe and Spondylus lodge are definitely our new favorite beach destination in Ecuador!"
