Pozitivna strana:

"Lovely hosts - nothing too much trouble. Buildings, gardens, pool well maintained and an obvious sense of pride in the property. Great breakfast and organised and efficient WhatsApp the night before asking for your breakfast order - ready on your table when you arrived for breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend this place."

Negativna strana:

"I liked everything but if I were to be highly critical the shower is quite small for larger people like myself!"

Pozitivna strana:

"We were a family of 6, sharing the 3 bedroomed Genoveffa apartment. We loved the building, the estate, the countryside setting and the glorious pool - great for cooling off as the weather was very hot! The pool area was never overcrowded and there were plenty of loungers/deck chairs to sit on, with parasols to protect you from the sun. The communal washing machine was very useful to have too."

"The kettle and toaster simply didn't work and the fridge wasn't cold enough and food items would go off within a matter of days, if not used. These items need replacing. Given the location and hot weather, there were a lot of bugs. Not all windows had insect screens on them and if they did, they were falling down in corners. We bought new ones and put them up ourselves and this made a huge difference. Finally, the bathrooms definitely need updating. We had a hand held shower head over a bath, which you had to hold when showering. This is not acceptable in 2024 - and not for 6 people sharing one shower/bath. My husband made a device from a wire hanger, which we attached to the shower head and could hang on the shower curtain rail and this made showering a lot easier. Our advice would be to remove the bath and bidet and put a proper walk in shower & shower unit in it's place. You need a car to go anywhere as apart from one local restaurant a short walk from the estate, you have to drive everywhere, on extremely winding roads. The beautiful village of Anghiari is about a 15 minute drive and the main town of Arezzo (with direct trains to Florence etc.), is about a 25 minute drive."

"L'ospitalità e il casale. Sia i proprietari che i genitori sono molto gentili. Il casale poi è veramente carino e molto accogliente, ci sente subito a casa. Poi in questo periodo di feste il camino addobbato fa la sua bella figura."
