"It looks like it was previously a school/college, with photos of students and teachers in the halls. Pretty charming (if a little eerie 😂) the rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom. There are other facilities like the pool and the gym which we didn’t use but seems promising especially during summer!"

"Not many pots and pans in the kitchen, fortunately we cooked early and there was no one else that needed the utensils 😅"

"This is newly renovated cottage at the farm area. Nice view, quite and nice spot to see northern lights when it is sunny and clear sky day. Lovely cottage with few units around."

"One of the best mountain cabins I´ve ever been – mind that it’s a Icelandic cabin (almost hostel) and not a hotel, so you must adjust your expectations accordingly. It has a spacious dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 showers, 3 toilets and all was super clean thanks to the great staff (I hope Karolina repeats next year). It can of course get busy when it’s full, but much better than the ones I stayed around. A nice plus that you can rent bedding if you don’t have a sleeping bag."
