"Extremely helpful and friendly staff, enthusiastic greeting on arrival and asking to help with bags. Location excellent for the city centre, just a short walk from The Oracle and Riverside. Very reasonable prices for an overnight stay. Comfortable bed with nice white sheets. Yorkshire Teabags in room a welcoming touch. Can't comment on breakfast as haven't partaken, but have stayed here several times and it's always done the job nicely. Staff are open about the fact they have music in the bar until late at the weekend so you know that's how it will be. It has never bothered me but might be worth taking earplugs if you are staying at the weekend and a light sleeper."

"I've been going there for years as its convenient for visiting family, the only thing is the lack of maintenance it's become tatty because it's a shame as it was a nice hotel."
