Hotel Central is located next to the Engelberg Main Train Station with connections to Lucerne, Dallenwil or Stans. WiFi access as well as private parking are offered for free at the hotel. All rooms are bright and spacious and have wooden furniture. They are equipped with a TV, safe and private bathroom with bathtub or shower and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a balcony overlooking the Engelberg Mountains. The restaurant and bar of Hotel Central are decorated with wooden elements. Swiss and international cuisine is served there. An area for smokers is provided. The gondola lift to Ristis is 900 metres away, while the gondola lift to Trübsee and the Klein Titlis ski region is 750 metres from the Central.

"We enjoyed Hotel Central due it's close proximity to the city center and train station. Our beds were comfortable and we had a very nice mountain view from our balcony. The hotel personnel were very supportive and welcoming. Great breakfast. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy skiing or explore the city."

"15 minutes walk from San Lucia, 2 minute walk and 2 bridges from Marcuola water bus. Nice and less expensive restaurants near by. Nice old building with refurbished room. Clean. Good bed.very helpful and friendly staff. Easy access to water bus station Marcuola to access all of Venice."
