Hotel Hahnenblick

"Nice hotel about 10 minutes outside the city centre of Engelberg, but close to the mountains and the ski area, which was great. The room was clean, and the housekeeper was very lovely and even offered me coffee when the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday."

"Communication was a bit difficult as the staff only spoke German. I wasn’t informed that the restaurant and breakfast service were closed on Monday and Tuesday, and I had to decide about breakfast at check-in. However, we managed to communicate in the end."

"The facilities are very comfortable and the staff very friendly. The place was always clean every time I arrived. The view from the room is spectacular."

"that I couldn't stay any longer"

"Super kind and friendly staff, we really felt that they want to make our stay great, really children-friendly place. We ate at the restaurant, food is tasty, they have lunch menu on work days. Klostermatte ski lifts are in comfortable walking distance, cross country ski track is literally a few meters from the hotel. Hotel has a ski room."

"My room was facing Hahnen, the views into the valley when the weather was fickle, and on the mountain when it wasn't, were both great. Staff was friendly and helpful, and room was spacious and bright and clean. Was nice to have a balcony, too. Great breakfast - simple, but all nice and fresh and tasty. Only 10 minutes walk from the town center, and perhaps 13 from train station (but there's also a bus option)."

"The traffic at the street in front of the hotel is a bit noisy during the day, with all the agricultural vehicles - but that's inevitable. Wasn't too bad. At night it's quiet."

"Very clean, staff very friendly, would recommend. Restaurant very good as well. High quality food."

"The shower head was hanging low for a taller guy and I would prefer a shower cabin instead of a bathtub"

"The staff was very nice. Family friendly. Great restaurant"
