"Amazing customer service- staff were extremely prompt in responding to our requests and frequently checked in during our stay. So impressed with the beauty of the surrounding area- lush foliage and trees which provided a relaxing and serene atmosphere for our stay. We ate from the Huerta- fresh vegetables and fruits which were delicious. We truly enjoyed our time here and we were sad to leave, we plan to return soon!"

"> We loved Cafe Jardin - a delicious healthy menu, everything fresh and organic (don‘t get that a lot in Bolivia), including a lovely selection of teas from ingredients of their own gardens, which are impeccably maintained. > The place is very peaceful on the slope of a side valley of Samaipata with green all around. Best view is from the stone throne on top of a rock at the upper end of the property. > On the day of departure you get a bag of fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden to take with you !"

"Access is over a bumpy gravel road 1 km from the main square of Samaipata. Most of Samaipata is like that, but it is good to know in case you are arriving with a pull along trolley and are planning to walk."

"Staff was very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Loved how we could pick from the garden for our salads and fruits. So many herbs and veggies to choose from! The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade breads, get wheat and white to try."

"The Finca is really nice. Lots of trees, the garden is beautiful and the restaurant is fantastic. The staff even made bitterballen, which were delicious. They also have a few small hiking trails that are really nice. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and clean and the staff (Alexander) were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Wunderschönes Anwesen leicht oberhalb von Samaipata (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss). Das Anwesen hat mehrere Häuser, welche man mieten kann. Zudem ein riesiger Garten mit viel Obst und Kräutern, die man nutzen kann, wenn man selber kochen möchte. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen im Restaurant sehr gut. Die Küche in unserem Haus war super ausgestattet."

"The hotel has a really good location in San Miguel (Calacoto), close to many good restaurants, cafes and shops. San Miguel is a very nice area in the south zone, but note that is is far from La Paz center (30-40 minutes in taxi, which costs ~50 Bs). The hotel is quite new, and our deluxe apartments were very nice with a bedroom with a big window, nice beds, a great view (we were on the 7th floor) and a well functioning bathroom. Breakfast is small but nice. Contains what you expect in Bolivia in these types of hotels: Cakes, bread, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit, eggs prepared on order, coffee etc. The breakfast varies a bit from day to day, which is nice. The staff is helpful and very friendly."

"We stayed 4 nights in the junior suite and it was amazing. The room was very spacious, with a beautiful view of the garden. The bed was very large and comfortable. What surprised us the most was the kindness of the owner. Carmen was extremely kind and helpful! We received many great recommendations for museums and restaurants, and she was always there whenever we had any questions. You can clearly see that she is very passionate about her job. I would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone, but be aware… you might want to stay even longer 😉"
