"An unbelievable location for woods and nature. Utterly beautiful! I want to move there! The staff were welcoming, gave us a little welcome drink and a map of local walks. The restaurant terrace has beautiful views. The room itself was clean and comfortable. They upgraded us from the annex to the main building and our view was outstanding."

"Plenty of good value food served at the restaurant but no vegan options at all besides a large salad and chips. Not many veggie options either. But to be expected somewhere rural and there is a supermarket down the road for provisions. Shower was low mounted which meant you had to hold it with one hand."

"Super friendly staff!! We arrived relatively late from a bear observation trip (book with CroMedo!!) and they still served us dinner. Nice traditional hotel directly at the brink of the Slovenian-Croatian border. Can’t imagine a better starting point for wildlife watching, hiking or rafting."

"We’d have loved it even more if they weren’t using one-way plastic packages for butter, jam, etc. during breakfast. Being nestled close to a national park with such awesome fauna and flora, refraining from using plastic should be self-evidently."
