No cappuccino option at brekky, just mediocre coffee. The "beach" is not worth the name - better stick with the pool.

"Beautiful view, with exceptional service. The staff is extremely friendly, makes a point of learning your name and providing the personal touch. A bit outside the busy Stone Town area, very close to the airport. Well priced."

The breakfast is a bit disappointing, would have loved a strong cup of coffee, but the rest of the menu is really enjoyable, and the great service more than makes up for the slightly under par breakfast.

Organised tours available for guests from tourist agencies, for self organised guests rent-a-car is the only option for sightseeing. Some facilities require better maintenance.

"The hotel is great and in an amazing location which is right inside the airport. Staff were polite and amazing, great buffet breakfast, there is mini zoo which had wildlife such as monkeys, crocodile, tortoise, parrot, ostriches, peacocks etc. The rooms and facilities was great and it was a great stay. They provided free shuttle to the airport which is a bonus."

The pool could do with a bit of cleaning.

"The country charm is irresistible. We stayed here first in December and fell in love with this place. When snow covers the ground it looks magical. I needed to ask a couple of times in 1 day to clean my room. When I checked in and went for a swim, the guard asked me where my swimming pool wristband was. I had not received one, so I had to leave the pool to get it :(

I liked everything, the only recommendation is more variety of food for breakfast. 4 days in a raw all dishes for breakfast were the same.
