"A fun and colourful resort close to Grenada airport. We stayed here for a few nights at the start of our trip to Grenada and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and reasonably comfortable; it had nice doors out with direct pool access and even had a small kitchenette. The grounds of the hotel are well thought out and it's nice to have the choice of pools, each with different views and vibes! The restaurant is great and we had some delicious meals, "Street Food Wednesday" was a highlight of our trip! There was also a wide range of tours and activities; we did a full island tour which was really worth it."

There are limited amenities near this hotel - other than the university, there is no town/restaurants/beach to walk to. The hotel was great and organizing taxis however and there is a free shuttle to the beach!

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

En el gimnasio no funcionaban las maquinas. La habitación está bien es limpia y cómoda pero se podría actualizar un poco la decoración. Por ser un resort en el precio podría estar incluido el desayuno

"I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels."

When a twin is converted into a double room, one of the guests end up without space to put their things and the light switches are at the wrong place.

Morao sam da se raspravljam oko toga da je spa centar ulkljucen u cenu, jer je pisalo na bookingu da jeste, iako mi je recepcionarka tvrdila da nije i da moram da doplatim... Posle moje upornosti da se vidim sa nadredjenima.. Jer sam bio sprema da idem do kraja... Kada je istina u pitanju... Ipak nam je omogućen ulazak u spa... I posle se pitaju zasto su ocene male... Sve u svemu da bih visu ocenu dosta da nije bilo toga...

I couldn't control the temperature of the room. I think the AC wasn't working properly I was a bit hot while sleeping even though the AC was on 16 degrees. Probably because the heaters were on.

The Resort is very isolated, and expensive to go anywhere. You are actually quite captive. Off season is not the time to go here. There are very few options for activities outside the resort. Apart from an island tour which is well worth doing, you are really confined to barracks, book reading (no TVs) and waiting for sunset drinks. Yes, there is some good snorkelling, swimming and kayaking, but that's it. No TV's or DVD library, no games as such. So, it's an awfully long way to go, and very expensive for just this. Unless of course that's what you're looking for.

- food wasn't cheap, menu was limited - beach in front of hotel was dirty and birdpoop - no possibility to board a (rented) jetski in front of the hotel - no guarded parking for the cars - 5 minutes walk and no vallet possible - breakfast buffet seems big but not that much variety day over day - it's always the same it seems

"Sve je bilo savršeno. Osoblje predivno, soba extra na 20 om sratu sa pogledom na palmu. Hrana u restoranu veoma luksuzna, raznovrsna i veoma ukusna. Posebno bih pohvalila večeru. Za ljubitelje morskih plodova i velikih gurmana to ce biti pravo uzivanje u hrani. Hotel je prelep sa raznim sadržajima. Deca su bila oduševljena sa akvarijumom i vodenim parkom. Hvala osoblju što su učinili da nas boravak ovde bude za pamćenje."

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

"EVERYTHING!! The room was exceptional. One of the best we’ve stayed in. Everything was oversized and just perfect. Really big room and comfy. The whole venue was perfect. Staff were super helpful and went over and above."

We were even given a very late check out of 4pm as our flight was a night time one. The location is beautiful: white sandy beaches and clear blue sea. "The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

Organised tours available for guests from tourist agencies, for self organised guests rent-a-car is the only option for sightseeing. Some facilities require better maintenance.
