"It was the perfect city getaway! We loved our stay in this small town and an area where we are close to the nature!! We went to saw the birds and flamingos near the lagoon and it was lovely. The Quinta feels so much like home, just comes with an ancient chapel as if it’s normal for all houses hahaha. Thank you for making us feeling so comfortable!! It is a very clean and well maintained house, with so much history and importance to its community. If you’re looking for travelling for sustainably and contributing to the local community, this should definitely be your choice!"

"Its a very peaceful and somehow interesting place to stay. There are many peacocks on the compound walking around freely and when lucky you get to see them make a beautiful wheel!"

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
