"Very quiet place with plenty of green places and connected with nature. Unfortunately the weather did not allow, but the swimming pool looked amazing and accommodation allows to have a restful time surrounded by nature and birds. Amazing Portugal!"

"Struggled to find the front, there was one sign saying reception but nothing after that. Walked up to the big front door but it was locked and had to go round the back to find anyone, she only spoke Portuguese and she took our name and showed us to our room and pointed at green tables outside to eat breakfast. She did not show us through the house and we had to spend time finding our way from the main front door with luggage. Bed was very comfortable with cotton sheets, there was a small fridge in the wardrobe and the bathroom was nice enough. Luckily for us we had brought some food at the main town supermarket for a snack for our evening meal as there was no where local to eat. The pool looked nice from a distance and there were coloured scatter cushions around. We had a patio door and a small table and chairs on the patio area. This place is rather remote."

"On arrival no one spoke English, only Portuguese. At breakfast next morning 2 people spoke English the own and one member of staff. On the morning we were leaving no English speakers again so could not check anything out. Drains in sink and bath took ages to drain. The legs fell off of the end of the seat at the end of the bed, told manager next day but think it was just another job they had not got round to and it only needed 2 screws to fix. Pool was at the end of the season with plastic drains broken and tiles missing from the bottom of the pool. Location was up a long, long farm track and very dark at night to get back too. It was a long way back to a town to get basic food and groceries at a supermarket and there was no were local cafe to get an evening meal or snack unless you went back to the town again. People need to know you need to take your own food with you or you have a long to back track to the decent size town. If you get the road wrong you can drive for many miles not knowing where you are."

"We liked everything. Was just for one night in a working day, so there weren't many people staying there, we could as well be the only ones. Super calm, clean, great morning walk in the cork oak field accompanied with Rosinha, cutest dog ever."

"Bathroom window on zero floor didn't have curtain, potentially could be looked inside by just passing by. didn't bother us too much but was little strange."

"The peace and calm, perfect to relax. Very beautiful environment and was a shame that the weather was not hot enough to dive in the pool, definitely will come back in the summer."

"It a beautiful property in a very calm area. The room was huge and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower with was amazing. The pool was a perfect place to relax."

"We waited for good 20-30 min at the office after arriving- even if the owner texted us and we shared our exact arrival time prior. The lady that showed us to our room insisted that we tell her at what time exactly we wanted to have breakfast the next day (when we said between 8:30-9:00, she insisted that we pick the EXACT time). But then there was nothing ready at 8:30. We waited until 9am for her to show up. It would be no problem at all, but why insist we pick the exact time and then not get it ready?"

"I booked a specific house and then learned it was a Booking thing. No-one there was aware that I had chosen THAT house. But when I mentioned it they changed everything to get me my dream experience! I was there for the privacy and the quiet. And then it was Saturday early morning… and the man with the lawn cutter showed up. Early! Marta did everything she could to keep him away from my house but the contract said he could only work Saturdays. After the poor woman chased him away for hours he came back to the area mid-afternoon. Much better but it still meant I had this “special” buzzing soundtrack for HOURS while trying to relax by the pool. No fault of hers. The woman was tireless in her efforts to protect my privacy and quiet. They just need to review their contracts."

"The rooms were spacious and simple. We used the lovely large verandah area to sit in the evening. Cosy and comfortable."

"Everything! It’s the most amazing and perfect place to stay if you want to connect with nature and relax. The breakfast is delicious, Rosinha is the cutest dog, and Marta was the best hostess! We felt very welcome, thank you!"
