"I had great time here! I stayed here for a week and really appreciate what they offered me! the staffs were so kind to me, even I stayed in the mixed dorm room, but they just let me stay there alone because they consider I am a solo female traveler, they just wanted me safe and comfortable! The hostel is quite basic, but it's really enough for me as a backpacker! Even I stayed in dorm, I still got very nice breakfast! I love and miss Monica's homemade jam! she even provided me breakfast on the morning when I arrived. Her son Lukas also super kind and helpful to me, really appreciate to look after me so well. I was quite enjoying my stay in Arequipa, thank you for everything! BTW, it's just located in the central, so convenient to go everywhere!"

"Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooftop area is nice. Location is fantastic, super close to the square. Good value for money. It was Mostly clean, kitchen could Be cleaner and bathroom Could Maybe do with a little clean later in the day. It has a main clean in the morning but once people are using it throughout the day, it could do with another smaller clean later on."

"The room was freezing at night, we did ask for another blanket and they gave us one. Shower was always cold. It mentions this in the booking but there is full on loud music across the road every night until around 1/2am! We had read this but didn’t expect it to be as loud as it was!"

"We really liked the location and the hosts were very kind, let us keep the luggage and take our time packing the day after. Also there is a kitchen and good bathrooms."

"It can get a bit loud both from people on the terrace and the clubs nearby but earplugs should do."

"After our stay we left for a 2day-trip, and they let us store our bags in the hostel for free. After the trip, we were also allowed to take a (hot) shower, even though we didn’t have a reservation anymore. The staff was thus very helpfull and made sure we had a comfortable stay."

"first of all the host , guy was AWESOME. we travel around for years and never met so friendly and helpful man like him. Location of the hostel - superb , just 2 minutes to the main square ."
