"The location is awesome! Part of the museum complex (with free entrance) and amazing roof top caffe. The local staff were super friendly and help us arrange transport to the top. Just literary at the start of a path through the villages."

"A clean, well-maintained apartment with all the amenities you could possibly need during your stay. The bed is comfortable, although a bit hard, as in all Omani accommodations. Both the bedroom and bathroom are spacious. The terrace is absolutely wonderful, with stunning views of the hanging gardens, facing directly toward the sunset side. We also really enjoyed complimentary visiting the museum and their rooftop café, where we were treated to tea. The staff (especially the man at reception) were extremely welcoming and kind."

"I’d say it’s a bit overpriced compared to the average accommodation prices in Oman. It feels like the extra cost is mainly for the beautiful terrace views rather than for the apartment itself or its amenities. Public parking area is by walking distance, and access to the apartment is via rather narrow stairs, which makes it inconvenient if you’re traveling with large suitcases. We decided to leave our luggage in the car, but if you forget something important, you’ll have to walk back to the car, which is a bit tiring after all day hiking. The airco heating is quite poor, it was a bit cold at night."

"The room was light, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and everyone was very friendly. Great facilities, there was a shared kitchen and Dining area on the rooftop. It was great to be able to self-cater. This room is part of a museum/cafe complex in a renovated traditional house surrounded by narrow quaint alleyways and cobblestone streets in an old village. The views from the room windows and rooftop are incredible. You can walk the Three Villages Walk from this place."

"- Hatalmas terasz, ami a szoba fölött található. - Fantasztikus kilátás a hegyoldalra, megművelt teraszokra - Szobában is van WC/fürdőszoba, de a teraszhoz is tartozik külön wc/fürdő helység - Terasz és konyha, 10-20 emberre elegendő asztallal, hellyel, evőeszközökkel, poharakkal, tányérokkal. - Kapszulás kávéfőző (természetesen kapszulák is hozzá), vízforraló, instant kávé és teafilter is. - A szállás a múzeum és kávézó épületében található, ingyenesen megtekinthető szállóvendégeknek. - Jót lehet beszélgetni a tulajdonossal, aki ebben a házban született"

"Ízlés függő, de a szoba kicsit rideg hangulatú. Minden fehér... Estére, aludni megfelelő, napközben egyébként is a környéket járja a vendég."

"La salle de bain était assez petite et il fallait sortir du logement et monter les escaliers pour accéder à la terrasse et cuisine attenante, mais ce n’est pas vraiment gênant"

"Die Lage und Aussicht sind top. Schlafzimmer ist unten, Küche mit offener Terrasse ist oben, verbunden durch eine Aussentreppe. Der Besitzer ist sehr nett, führt auch das Museum und wir konnten es gratis besichtigen. Es war (Mitte November) am Morgen und Abend kühl auf der Terrasse. Die Sonne kommt erst so gegen 14 Uhr auf die Terrasse. Das Schlafzimmer war sauber und gross, ebenso das Bett."

"Sehr nette Gastgeber, der Ausblick einfach einmalig. Die gesamte Terrasse gehörte zum Appartement, dort konnte man gut und gern verweilen. Direkt vom Appartement aus konnte man super los wandern. Auch das dazugehörige Museum war sehenswert und man konnte hier preiswerte Souvenirs kaufen. Wir haben nur mit vollgepackten Rucksack eingecheckt, da der Weg zur Unterkunft mit unebenerdigen Stufen mit Koffer zu kompliziert gewesen wäre. Für eine Nacht braucht man schließlich nicht viel. Bett war, wie die vorherigen Kommentare zu entnehmen war, etwas sehr hart. Beste Unterkunft auf unserer Reise bisher. Vielen Dank nochmal."
