It is just a 5-10 minute walk to Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown Airport, New World supermarket, a self-service laundry, travel agencies, car rental companies, Remarkables Park Center, outdoor sports shops, and a variety of restaurants including Italian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and French bakeries. Additionally, it is close to schools, a library, a playground, and a hospital. Every Saturday morning, there is a local market featuring live band performances and a variety of local food and merchandise for sale. It is definitely worth a visit.

"The view was great. However, we thought that the beds were better put on the opposite side of the wall for capturing the view so we changed them a bit. The location is great and very convenient to supermarket and cafes. The bed was very comfortable, especially the pillow 🫶. The place was very secured and quiet. We both had a good sleep🙏"
"The door had made some noise when the wind started blowing. If the email of the door code and room number could be sent in the early morning on the day of checking in would be better. We didn't receive the information until the afternoon."

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Murray’s on Mary was an excellent choice of stay for us . It had all the home comforts you could wish for with bests that were so comfortable you didn’t want to get up .. Showers are often hit & miss when away from home but this one was a hit all the way . We loved Ziggy & the 1950’s coffee table was a delight ."
