"Welcomed on reception, chatty greeting, gave us all the relevant information. The room was just what we needed, good shower pressure as well."

"Friendly helpful managers. Great central location. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoy to cook and there was everything I needed for breakfast and dinner prep. Some people have complained about road noise but I really didn't notice that and had a good sleep every night. The building is made of concrete slab and has great room insulation. I could not hear the neighbour's TV like many other Motels I have stayed."

"Very comfortable bed and handy location to supermarkets and town. Dirty dishes taken away each day and replaced with clean was good considering there was no kitchen sink. No one wants to wash dishes in a hand basin!"

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
