Hotel Dirbach Plage

"We really enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel surrounded by nature. The location is absolutely beautiful — a rocky mountain backdrop, a peaceful river in front, and plenty of hiking paths all around. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for a few days of rest. Our room had a lovely view, was comfortable and clean, and the heating worked very well. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We also had dinner twice at their restaurant and both times the food was great. They always offer one vegan soup and one vegan main course — both were delicious!"

"There was a slight smell of humidity when entering the room, but it went away quickly after opening the window. Also, we would have preferred a single double mattress instead of two separate ones, since the bed frame was double. A small suggestion for breakfast: it would be nice to have a few more vegan options, such as plant-based milk, vegan yogurt, or a vegan pastry — otherwise, the only vegan choice is bread with jam, and for €12.50 that’s not much. However, for non-vegans the breakfast options are more than enough. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay if you love nature, peace, and good food. Highly recommended!"

"Wow what a wonderful establishment! Staying on the river itself has such a magical feeling and then the rooms just add to that. Very clean and modern with a few vintage touches here and there which draws on the hotel's wonderful history. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant also serves top quality food and their day menus are something to look forward to everytime."

"Great location even though my navigation had some trouble finding it. The breakfast was good and very friendly staff. It is not a luxury hotel, but the mattress was good and the room was clean. What more can you ask for."

"The matras wasn't very comfortable. The room, with a slanted roof, was relatively small. As was the bathroom. Being directly under the roof, the room got quite warm in the afternoon."
