"La Villa No1 es la estancia ideal para pasar la noche en Bentota, tanto por su ubicación (se encuentra en primera línea de playa) como por su servicio y atención. Es un matrimonio encantador, agradable y en todo momento dispuestos a echarnos una mano en lo que sea necesario. Calidad precio 10/10."

The owners have a real vision and their care for the environment really stands out in a country where plastic bottles are such a problem. The food is amazing. "Staff very friendly and helpful. Balcony lovely to sit on in the morning, provided breakfast was wonderful. Great location with a short cut walk into town which only took 5-10 minutes and felt very safe walking back at night. Would return given the opportunity"

"The location of the property is brilliant just outside of the busy road, but still in walking distance/ close to popular restaurants and my boyfriend’s favourite part was that the location is right in-front of devils point. The hotel also has an upstairs terrace with is a great to place to chill late afternoon / evening. When we stayed there is a bar downstairs and upstairs on the terrace however these were closed as the original owner has just retook over the hotel and is therefore waiting for a licence to sell alcohol."

"From my point of view, for families with children, if they don't have their own means of transport, transportation anywhere is a bit more complicated, but tuk tuk will take you wherever you want for an affordable price. For other tourists, traveling and transportation is very easy. you can spend time by the pool, which is located in the villa. You can eat and order drinks right in the villa. The staff is very helpful, the food is tasty and the surroundings are nice."
