"Amazing homestay in Dambulla. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked. The bathroom was basic, but had no issues. There is a nice space outside to sit with chairs if you want. We used Dambulla as a base to explore the cultural triangle. Our hosts were super lovely and friendly and very accomodating, we had a great time getting to know them. The breakfasts (included in our booking) and dinner (cost extra) were both so tasty and we loved it. Our host is also a tuk tuk driver and he took us to Sigiriya and toured us around Anuradhapura in his tuk tuk - both trips for a very reasonable price. There is also a hill/rock behind the accommodation that you can climb up to watch the sunrise/sunset, which is lovely. Overall we have a lovely stay and would highly recommend it!"

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
