He provided us with information on what to do and see in Ella. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. Especially enjoyed hearing the birds singing and the peacocks calling"

The lodge is surrounded by nature, and the atmosphere is incredibly calm, perfect if you want to disconnect and reset. Waking up to the sounds of birds and spending time by the water felt unreal. The whole place blends beautifully with the environment and gives a true eco-living experience. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more comfortable. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and everything felt thoughtfully done. "Lovely family run accommodation in a rural garden setting off the main street. Modern building with rooms overlooking a well kept garden with mango, coconut and other tropical trees. The room was nice, clean with mosquito net set up over the bed - the bed was big and comfortable. Air con and fan both worked really well. WiFi was OK. Bathroom and shower were nice - there was a hot shower which was a bit temperamental - probably due to the low water pressure. Nice seating area outside where we were served a fabulous breakfast of rice, lovely dhal, pancakes, toast, fruit. There was so much and the dhal was topped up, by our host, because we ate it all! The owners were very friendly and helpful - Sharman organised an afternoon safari for us in Udawalawe, and organised a driver to take us to Ella. He recommended a restaurant and was really friendly, informative and helpful."

They arranged a tuktuk for us to Moray Falls, which was really good! Additionally, the garden house is only a 15 minute walk to the Adam's Peak trail starting point."

"The bungalow is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants but little further away from the street so you don’t hear any traffic. It has a beautiful little garden and a lot of shared space for sitting and relaxing. The owner is a very friendly and nice man, he let us use his kitchen and rented his scooter. Although the room is not too big and is lacking a little more storage space, we spent 5 comfortable nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Plus the wifi is really good!"
