Casa Vista

"The views from the deck were every bit as magnificent as the photos suggest. The pool is not huge but very deep so swimming was a joy and it was so refreshing. The apartment was very well equipped lots of useful food and other comestibles which really helped. The bed was huge and very comfy with a very big airy bathroom. Verlinda and Ernie were very welcoming and supportive during our stay and arranged our airport pick up which introduced us to the wonderful Fabby. He is a taxi driver living close by and he ran us everywhere and anywhere we wanted."

"As others have said it is a steep road down to the bay, and feels even steeper on the way back up, particularly in the heat! But Fabby didn’t mind running a couple of overheated later life people up and down so we enjoyed the restaurants on the bay as much as we wanted."

"The place was great when we arrived. There was beverages in the fridge a little cheese and crackers and coffee, which is always good when you’re traveling to have something for the next day everything went very well. The views were also awesome."

"They could use some blackout curtains and mirrors in the bathroom lighting was very low. The location was good except you really need a car or a driver very hilly to get anywhere."

"Casa Vista is a wonderful large apartment with a wrap around balcony overlooking the harbour at Marigot Bay. It’s positioning for views must be one of the best in the area. It has both a large bedroom and living area. The kitchen has a massive American style fridge, lots of cupboard space, a large island and lots of equipment. The living area is large and comfortable with a TV and lots of sliding doors leading to the wrap around balcony. Below is a pool which is shared with another apartment below the one we stayed in. The apartment is spotless and very well maintained. Verlinda and Ernie, the owners, were incredibly helpful and generous. They made our stay really something."

"There was nothing we did not like about the apartment. The one thing that needs to be accounted for is the quiet road outside which goes down to the harbour is steep and walking back requires a bit of effort. Not a problem if you are fit or have a car."

"We loved the view and the suite was exceptional. It was clean. The kitchen was well appointed with all we needed for cooking. We spent most of our time on the deck and pool. We got our exercise walking up and down the hill to the Bay Area. The owners were very friendly and helpful with dining suggestions. They also recommended a driver, who we had all week."
