"Aal Aoudeh exceeded our expectations in every way. The setting near Deir el Qamar centre is beautiful, and the atmosphere of the place and welcome from the charming hosts make it immediately easy to relax. The rooms have real character, the comfortable and almost cave-like living room in particular. Being able to light a fire at the end of the day made it all the more special (wood supplied on request). The garden views are perfect for morning coffee. The small kitchen (two-ring hob, fridge and sink) is more than enough, and restaurants, take-aways and supermarkets are just a short tuk-tuk or car ride up the hill. If you prefer warmth, character and genuine hospitality over what is often impersonal hotel luxury, this is a very special place to stay."

"Exceptional property has the river running through the front yard, with barbecue, hammock, swing and patio furniture. Two story house has the kitchen, bathroom and living room on the first floor, and the two bedrooms upstairs. Nice layout and fully equipped with everything you need. Manager was very friendly and helpful."
