Offering an outdoor pool, Hotel Columbus is just 10 metres from the beach in Lignano Sabbiadoro. Its restaurant serves an American breakfast each morning and Italian dishes at dinner. Rooms at the Columbus feature wood floors and a private balcony. Some have a view of the beach. All air-conditioned, they also feature a minibar and TV with satellite and pay-per-view channels. Parking is private and Lignano Golf Club is 15 minutes' drive away. Guests have a discount at a sports centre 200 metres away. Buses for Lignano Sabbiadoro and local airports and train stations stop nearby.

"U Columbusu smo noćili više puta i to van sezone. Osoblje izuzetno ljubazno. Došli smo u hotel sa rezervacijom jednog noćenja ali verovatno mojom greškom rezervisano i plaćeno za isti datum ali sledeće godine. Na recepciji su problem rešili za par minuta i obezbedili nam sobu."

"Soba čista i prostrana sa velikom terasom. Kupatilo sa hidromasažnom kadom i bideom sa mnogo peškira. Kreveti udobni. Doručak obiman i ukusan. Kafa uz doručak. Garaža u sklopu hotela."

"A part of the restauraurant was closed for breakfast without a real reason. That resulted to be really crowdy around a buffet table. Also, the queue for the coffee machine was very long. I waited for coffee for more than 5 minutes."

"Soundproofing of the room was poor, we could hear all the talks from the neighbour. The breakfast could be improved a lot, there was a reasonable selection, but low quality. Hotel parking was full - but we could park on the street (was safe and free)."
"We went end of October. It’s lovely place to stay close to the beach and mall. Breakfast was great. Service was excellent. Stayed a night longer and the receptionist was very helpful. Next time I would Get a room facing the beach. I was cheap so we had room facing the town. But with a large balcony."

"The decor was out of this world! Absolutely stunning place to stay, very luxurious at a great price. The particular suite we stayed had a fantastic jacuzzi bathtub which was a highlight. Also the reviews don't lie, the breakfast is quite the feast!"

"Wunderschöne Gegend, schöne Anlage, teilweise schon älter aber sehr gepflegt, lediglich die Matratzen in den Standard Bungalows würden sich sicherlich freuen wenn sie gegen neue Exemplare ausgetauscht würden."

"Siamo tornati per la terza volta in questo campeggio, e ho preso una casa mobile “last minute”. La casa era pulita confortevole e con aria condizionata, molto utile viste le temperature del periodo. La casa mobile era vecchio tipo, ma probabilmente questa tipologia viene lasciata proprio per il last minute, prenotando per tempo si trovano le case mobili ristrutturate molto più accoglienti. Quello che mi ha un po’ lasciato perplessa è la gestione del bar. I baristi sembravano scocciati dalle richieste dei clienti, poco disponibili e abbastanza scortesi. Capisco che la stagione al mare sia dura, ma se a inizio luglio la vivi così, guai a chi ti passa vicino a metà agosto… per il resto il campeggio si è ridotto di dimensioni rispetto a prima del covid, ma è sempre in una posizione e con una spiaggia talmente fantastica che ci tornerò."

"Salvatore was the kindest most generous host . He couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable . If you want a real taste of Italy instead of a tourist experience stay here. Salvatore makes his own wine which is excellent and own food too . The cuisine was a fabulous authentic experience ."
