The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can truly feel the history of this place, which makes the stay even more special. As it was late in the season, we were the only guests. Sandra was very helpful and set our breakfast out for us before she had to go out to work. The breakfast was rather unappetising with cheap sliced bread & ham, plentiful, but unappealing.

There were regular power cuts in the city during our stay (not the hotels fault). The roads outside can be quite noisy at times

There wasn't anything. Not a new pansio but it is absolutely perfect.

"The guesthouse is situated at a peaceful street. Friendly staff. We were given a nice room facing to the quiet backyard so we were able to keep the window open all night, allowing us good sleep. All we needed were in the room: shower, good beds, fan to keep the room cooler. The breakfast was good. The beautiful Rakvere castle is within a brisk walk, also some good restaurants and a supermarket are few steps away."
