"The owner, Lorraine, was super nice and always helpful with any questions we had. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our 5-day stay. The accommodation had everything we needed. "A well presented property with every thing provided. Lorraine and Tommy left enough food and drink to keep us going all weekend. Scones, jam, milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, wine,water. There were toothbrushes, toothpaste, personal hygiene goods, toiletries. Everything. The property was beautifully clean and they allowed us to check in early as we were going out for lunch. We will certainly be back. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much."

"The Casan was so pristine and extremely cosy in every way possible. We had everything you could ask for and more. Lorraine pulled out all the stops with special touches all around the apartment and even had a Birthday card for my husband and some lovely treats when we arrived. Lorraine and her husband were so friendly and helpful and it was lovely to meet and chat with them both."

Lorraine is an amazing host, she called in to say hello and was full of knowledge about the area. I would 100% recommend a stay in The Casan for exploring Donegal. The welcome treats and milk and butter were a lovely touch. We can't wait to return on our next visit to Donegal!"

"Our sons and their spouses are based in Ireland and The Netherlands respectively; we are from South Africa. We stayed in Dublin and then travelled to Galway. We were SO impressed with the property - it really catered for a family. The house was neat and tidy; the kitchen was well equipped and we loved the setting. We would love to go back in summer."

"Our stay at the hotel was great. The rooms were modern, but the lobby and the bar were a lovely old vibe style. The restaurant and breakfast selection had great options. Live music was playing in the bar on Saturday, which was lovely, but the music was not heard in the rooms, thus not disturbing our rest. Great beaches within short driving distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in Co. Mayo."
