"We stayed here one night before taking overnight boat trip. The hotel is almost in front of the port entrance, making it very useful to catch the boat on the next morning. In addition, the staff were very kind and informed us places to eat, when we arrived late at night. The hotel could keep our big suitcase during boattrip too. We enjoyed our stay, despite it was very short."

"We loved our stay at Balian Camp! The owner and his family were welcoming and kind, we even had a bbq night with freshly caught fish! Balian Camp was a lovely haven outside the main town, surrounded by fruit trees and nature. There are still plenty of restaurants and cafes just across the road easily accessible. "Absolutely lovable hosts who clearly put a lot of heart into this bed and breakfast. Since we left early for Ijen, Anna even prepared date pancakes for us, which we enjoyed later at the volcano. Great value for money for a one-night stay, everything felt well taken care of. We also got excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The inner courtyard is lovely, and the location is in a quiet neighborhood."
