"A wonderful hotel that makes you sleep with peace of mind. A warm reception and a smile on their faces. The breakfast is good. The place is very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it to you. The room has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV that only has Tunisian channels. There are no movie channels. This is the point.I don't like it. I want all the channels on the TV. "Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. "Lokacija, istorijat hostela i priča u vezi sa tim, odeljak sa društvenim igrama, fleksibilan ček in, primili su nas u 9 ujutru, jer je soba bila spremna, iako je zvanično vreme od 15 časova. Soba za odlaganje prtljaga. Dovoljan broj toaleta i tuš kabina, unikatne sobe sa kreativnim rešenjima. Delovi za razvrstavanje i reciklažu otpada."

Usled toga što je ovaj objekat prethodno bio zatvor, sobe imaju izvesna ograničenja u pogledu dimenzija i komfora, ali za kratak period, i s obzirom na prethodnu namenu soba- to možemo smatrati i izvesnom avanturom. :) Takođe, budući da je reč o spratnim kupatilima, ne možemo očekivati da svi imaju isti osećaj za urednost i higijenu. Ali, zamerke nisu bile takve da pokvare celokupni doživljaj.

"Beat hotel to stay if you prefer silence . It is very near to the center and the staffs were also really friendly especially at the reception . Loved my stay."

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

Зидови се на све стране распадају вероватно од влаге, види се да хостел дуго ради и да му треба комплетно реновирање. Радник на рецепцији није био претерано гостопримљив док су чистачице биле супер љубазне и насмејане.

"Prvenstveno lokacija, ceo koncept hostela na vodi u šumi je odličan. Zajednicki deo kafic/terasa su jako udobni i osecate se dobrdoslo. Krevet je bio udobar, grejanje je bilo odlicno. Dorucak sto je ukljucen u cenu vise nego odlican."

Toalet je u sklopu nase sobe je mali i resenje sa vodom posle tuširanja nije najsjanije odradjeno. Zidovi su dosta tanki, ali imali smo srecu i svi gosti su bili uzuzetno pristojni.

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.
