"We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!"

They were extremely nice with us, they gave us advice for the northern lights, we chatted with them and they were very friendly and nice people. If i ever want to come back in rovaniemi, surely i will come back to this accomodation and i will reccomend it."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"We are visiting from Australia and this was a perfect place to stay for over a week. Lovely host who was so kind. The guesthouse is only a 5 min walk to a lovely restaurant and another 5 mins to centre of town yet it’s so peaceful. Room was very clean and comfortable with great aircon. A lounge area is available with tea/coffee, fridge and microwave. Lovely outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse."

"The place is a pure perfection, one of the rare occassions where photos don't do the hotel justice. The cabanas are few and set in a beautiful green garden. Our cabana was beautifully decorated, there's a small kitchen with all necessary amnities, a bathroom with hot water, comfy bes and a terrace to relax on while waiting for a rain shower to pass ;) If you're a type of traveler who prefers tranquility, I urge you to stay on Carenero, while visiting Bocas del Toro. It's a short (1min, 1$) drive with a water taxi from Bocas Town and one will come to pick you up as soon as you set your foot on pier. The hotel is only 3min walk from the nearest pier."

It was perfect, by far the nicest place I've ever stayed in during my travels. Has a kind of a honeymoon vibe to it. I wish Booking offered a higher grade for places which exceed all others. 11/10 :)

"We were originally going to stay at the main Thermal Hotel, but saw this and the rating and thought why not, and so glad we did! The property is next door and in the centre, and the host is amazing. Guy called me ahead of arrival to tell me about location / access etc, and was the perfect host when we arrived. He had even set up the room TV including Netflix to our language. The rooms were not only spotless but modern with an elegant touch. Would definitely recommend."

Breakfast and dinner well cooked, tasty but in a small quantity and not very diverse. The reef in front of the location is not very beautiful, but there are sharks and you can do diving and snorkel tours."

We took tour with Francis as well, both were wonderfull. I did not like that there were no mats on the bedroom floor or kitchen. No dish soap, no hands soap, no paper towel or even a kitchen towel. I been to one air BNB and two hotels and only blue star provided nothing for their guests. I was shocked but it is what it is. I learnt so I know now what to expect should I book it against. All in all it was a great stay and a beautiful place.
