"Rooms are spread over several terraces with lots of flowers. We were on the top and had a great view. Being at elevation, it's nice and cool at night. No fans needed. Great new showers with good hot water. They have a pump system through which there is still water when the power is out. A generator is turned on if there is a power cut in the morning or evening. The restaurant is very good. During lunch it is particularly well visited. For breakfast and dinner it's primarily hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of fruits and good bread. Dinner was a daily changing dish by a daily rotating local chef. Large parking lot. Nearby attractions are Monte Café and Cascata de São Nicolau."

We arrived right on the day of a big storm which primarily hit the highlands. For the next few days CST, the telephone company, was everywhere fixing lines. There was no wifi for the whole two days we were at the hotel. It is possible that this was a consequence of the storm. We made it work with mobile data. The hotel sells credits if you have a CST Sim card.

"Our group of 20 had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stellas in Ziemupe. The holiday home exceeded our expectations, with 10 spacious bedrooms that perfectly accommodated each couple. The jacuzzi was a fantastic addition, and having a private beach just 400 meters away was a dream! "Endroit propre, calme et propice à la détente. Literie d'excellente qualité. Agréable piscine, suffisamment grande pour pouvoir nager et non seulement barboter ! Extérieur très agréable (Cuisine extérieure, plantes et magnifique vue sur le ciel étoilé !). Très bon accueil par l'hôte."

Essayer de voir avec Google Map la problématique de la direction GPS qui n'est pas la bonne... Merci à l'hôte qui, devant mon désespoir, est venu à ma rencontre ! Cette remarque ne remet nullement en cause la qualité de l'hébergement.

"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."
