"Apparently my room was a cheaper one (1,125 DKK/155 EUR a night) and situated in the Panorama building which is up on the hill further away from the main building than the ferry harbour. Expected more from the breakfast buffet. This island needs competition in hospitality."
"Given Disko Islands isolation it was reasonable value for money. Good breakfast Set meals were excellent with good table service and well trained staff. An experience of fine dining in an isolated environment. Some challenging walks, if only the weather had cooperated. Room in the Old Telegraph Station was basic but comfortable."

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

Two shower/toilet rooms shared between 4 rooms. Impeccably clean. Free wi-fi. 2x supermarkets and a fast-food place are within walking distance, closing around 22:00."
