Situated in the heart of the village of Llanberis, Idan House is just 10 minutes’ walk from the Snowdon Mountain Railway Station. This family run guest house is just 10 miles from Bangor’s city centre. The comfortable rooms have a TV with Freeview, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms boast a private wash basin and shower. In the mornings, Idan House serves a hearty Welsh breakfast. Llanberis offers several restaurants and a pub, within a 10-minute walk of the house. Idan House is located at the heart of Snowdonia. The area offers numerous outdoor activities, including mountaineering, climbing, and mountain biking. Parc Padarn is just 1 mile away and offers the National Slate Museum and the Vivian Diving Centre.

"Breakfast was good. Our room was very spacious and cozy. Check-In and Check-Out went smoothly. There was enough space for parking on the street, this may differ in high season."

"Quite steep steps to get upstairs. We are used to living in a house but these seemed extra steep, so hard carrying your luggage up and down. Check in was just from a key in a safe to your room, but straight forward and easy."

"We received a really warm welcome. We stayed in the Tudor Room (all 6 rooms are themed); it was very comfortable with plenty of hanging and drawer space. Bottled water and plenty of decent tea & coffee. Lovely bathroom with a decent shower and plenty of hot water. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were plentiful and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and can't do enough to help. Even if you aren't visiting this particular part of Yorkshire we would recommend going slightly out of your way and stay at this little gem - you won't be disappointed!"
