"The property was clean, and felt private, despite there being other accommodation on the gite. The pool facility and outdoor activities are excellent and the location, close to a lake is idyllic. The rooms are well maintained and the property has everything a family needs for a nice relaxing stay. The hosts were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The house is on the outskirts of a small village which has a few small restaurants and bars, and where you grab a few essentials. The location is extremely peaceful."
"The only real downside to the property is that it is slightly remote, but we knew that when we booked. It is 5 minutes from a small village but major towns and supermarkets are a good 30 minutes away, but easy to get to. The trade off is that it is quiet and tranquil, and in beautiful surrounds. There was an issue while we were present where the WiFi was down for the week and the company that could fix it was closed for the summer. The data signal for phones was strong though so this was not a serious issue."
"Location was wonderful, the view was heavenly, Eddie and Cindy and Emma were wonderful hosts, so helpful, generous and caring.The pool is perfect and and the grounds beautifully kept."

"The apartment was modern, clean and good value for money given the city was full of rugby fans. It was close to the port, stadium and not too fart from the train station. All in all, it was a good little apartment and met our needs."
"We loved the jacuzzi and the all round character of the unit. It was very well equipped and being on the ground floor it was easily accessible and we had little trouble finding parking out front. The location so close to the canal and cdb was exceptional. The communication with the owner was excellent and he had some good suggestions of where to eat etc"
"The location couldn't be better, with stunning views over Esparron from the balcony. We loved the traditional French building with lovely wooden shutters and to hear the bell tolling gently from the town church. Just a short walk from cafés, bar and shop. And when we had questions we got speedy and helpful responses We look forward to staying again!"

"Everything we needed for an overnight stay. Excellent location. Lots of character. Added bonus of 2 bikes. Private outdoor seating area. If you're looking for a traditional French studio. This ticks all the boxes. Loads of pots/pans all the utensils. Lovely big bed and loads of sockets, plenty of reading literature."

"Location is everything, and this was perfect. In the middle of nowhere and surrounded by fields, it was as quiet as it gets, no light or sound pollution, nothing but birdsong and the occasional tractor and cow sounds. Gardens are huge, and although the owners are attached to this property, it felt extremely private. We knew Ingrid was there if we needed something, but we didn't hear or see anyone. The pool was brilliant and thoroughly enjoyed by us. The whole house was spotless when we arrived with comfortable beds and all you need for a good stay. We were greeted by lovely Ingrid with presents waiting for us too. It is also perfectly located within normandy with easy access to beaches within 30 minutes, Caen, Bayeux, Honfleur, Carbourg etc. And we made it to Mont St Michel too, which is within 2 hours away. We would definitely come back."
