"We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Like many other places, it would have been useful to have a small written paper on how to work out the wifi and the heating. The Manoir has a real feel of an historic home.An easy short walk into the village. Breakfast was very nice and with home made jam and croissants ( which sadly got burnt but there were alternatives! ) Bellay is a very nice little town. There was only one restaurant open, Le Gourmandisier, which was excellent."

"A lovely well equipped apartment in a fantastic location in the heart of Amboise. The hosts were very attentive supplying lots of information ahead of our visit and lots of personal touches and treats on our arrival. They have paid lots of attention to the needs of their guests. The apartment has an amazing terrace where you can sit and watch the world go by as well as the hot air balloons taking flight in the evening. Amboise is a lovely town with lots of great restaurants to choose from, lots of independent shops and of course the castle. It was a great base for us to explore the surrounding area. Free parking was easily located nearby the apartment. We would highly recommend Amboise and this brilliant apartment and we will definitely return!"
