Première Pierre

"Large apartment. Spotlessly clean. Secure garden our dog loved having a run in after hours in car. Was going to moan about the very thin single pillow until I discovered the bed was electrically adjustable at push of a button."

"Write up said there were 3 restaurants within 100 meters. Two were shut and the one open didn't do dinner , shut at 19.00 and offered a very limited take away to be reheated in microwave."

"Premiere Pierre was a real find. The building is stunning and the rooms equally as impressive, with all mod cons. The host was really lovely and welcoming and made a great suggestion for an evening meal (Restaurant/ bar directly opposite the accommodation) - which was amazing! It was just a shame we were only there for 1 night as we didn’t have enough time to explore Verdelais, which a really pretty village, so we will definitely be back!"

"Really lovely flat. We were doing a long 2 day drive and spent the night there to break the journey. Spacious, clean and modern. Dog friendly and our labradoodle was very comfortable!"

"We didn’t realise there would be no soap or bathroom amenities. But we will know to carry some next time we stay!"

"It was a beautiful old building superbly modernised inside. The passageways were well lit and attractive as was the lift. The room was delightful. I have never been so pleasantly surprised by a hotel as when I entered Première Pierre. The situation was so lovely, the village was gorgeous, and the bar/restaurant across the road, family run, was memorable for all the right reasons!"

"Our booking at a Chateau was upruptly cancelled and we had to look for a place last minute. We were glad to stay at Première Pierre. Despite reaching late, all instructions were clearly communicated.. Room was very big, like in the photos. Very quite little village. The hosts were very friendly and so lovely to talk to. Breakfast was included in the price, it was small and perfect for us. We reached at 8PM, no restaurant was open nearby Luckily we found an excellent pizzeria de L'horloge, just 8min drive away,"

"The property was perfect for our base to explore the area on bicycle. It had a secure courtyard to store our bikes and many routes to cycle on, including the Garonne canal. It was easy to arrive by train in Langon then a 20min cycle to the prperty. The apartement was comfortable and had a small kitchen to cook with. There was a washing machine. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was provided. The village of Verdelais is charming and has a number of restaurants."
