"Beautiful, spacious rooms. The hotel is clearly currently undergoing restoration or renovation works. All the plumbing and bathroom fixtures are completely new, the water pressure was excellent, and the room was warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the breakfasts were good."

"The only downside was the phone in the room — it would be better to replace it with a corded one, as it discharged very quickly, which made it impossible to contact reception promptly. Also, the elevator on our floor was not working, but this was due to the renovation, so it was not a problem for us. The staff were always ready to help with the luggage."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Normandy Le Chantier. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was also very good. The location is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest advantages — it’s perfect for exploring Paris."

"One small downside was that there is a restaurant at the entrance of the hotel, and sometimes a strong kitchen smell could be noticed in the lobby. At night, the smell of food being cooked occasionally reached the rooms as well."

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We were warmly welcomed by a kind and charming lady at the reception—her name is Greta. I had booked a superior room, but we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room. The room was very spacious, with a large bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room itself was stunning, with its very high ceiling reminding me of the time of Louis XIV. The beautiful curved staircase with its long carpet added even more charm to the atmosphere. The only recommendation I would make to the management is to address the smell coming from the restaurants on the ground floor, which spreads into the upstairs corridors and even enters the rooms. Apart from that, everything was wonderful. Thank you to the whole team."

"Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location is ideal for walking in the 1st and going to the Louvre. Restaurants and brasseries on every corner. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice chair for sitting and table to use as a desk. There were stylish decorative touches as well which made it a very pleasant place to spend time. Coffee maker was there and mini bar. The staff were efficient, smiling and helpful. Bathroom looked to be entirely new and so worked perfectly. I'd come again anytime."

It had a lovely bathroom with fabulous shower, a mini bar, espresso coffee machine and robes. The beds were really comfortable. It was lovely being able to step out onto the balcony and people watch the street below!"
